Drawn to stories of love, identity, and transformation, she enjoys exploring the messy business of being human—with or without fae magic. Her YA romantic fantasy series, The Flowerlands, begins with Elephant at the Party. A lifelong lover of stories, Julie is happiest when she’s writing, reading or falling in love with new characters. A self-confessed characterisation geek, she’s even decided to try acting—because apparently one creative obsession isn’t enough.
